It is food allergy awareness week!
Do you know that 1 out of every 13 children have a food allergy? That is a staggering number. That is roughly 2 kids in every classroom.
Every year my little one brings in something to give to her friends and teacher. Just a little something to say thank you for taking such good care of her. This year she is bringing everyone a certificate. The certificate can be found at

am going to my son's first grade and giving a presentation, handing out book marks, and bringing an allergen free treat. The nurse made a bulletin board with food allergy awareness week posters. Woo Hoo
